April 9th, Tsatsral Erdenebileg broke the world record for holding the “Marinelli bend” for two minutes and thirty four seconds, supporting herself with her teeth. My teeth hurt just looking at this.

The previous record, 50 seconds, was held by a different Mongolian contortionist, Oyungerel Luvsandorj. Mongolia has several schools that teach contortion, and it is a well-respected art form there.

Fotos vom Black Market, woot. ♥ Einfach queerbeet weil ich von all den Fotos nicht entscheiden konnte, was ich alles so posten sollte, aber ich denke das vermittelt doch einen ganz guten Eindruck?
Man kriegt wirklich alles. Von Kleidung, Schuhen, Campingausrüstung, Souvenirs, Taschen, Uhren, Schmuck… einfach alles. Auch Sachen fürs Ger, für die Pferde - Eben alles. Es ist wahnsinn.
Das Gelände ist einfach riesig. Sich alles anzuschauen ohne bestimmtes Ziel ist beinah unmöglich. Wir haben uns bei den Klamotten (zwei neue Kleider für mich, yeah) und den Souvenirs umgesehen. (Jemand ein Schwert, Adlerklaue, Hakenkreuzanstecker…?) Ein Souvenir habe ich bereits, aber psscht. Wird nicht verraten was es ist und für wen ;)

Leider ist es dann am Nachmittag total windig und kalt geworden. Ich hab überall Sand im Gesicht und in den Haaren und versteh jetzt wieso Asiaten solche kleine Augen ohne Lidfalte haben… 8D Also ging es dann wieder Heim. Wenn irgendwer günstig Schuhe, Schmuck oder sowas will kann er gern bescheid geben. Werd sicher noch öfter mal hingehen. :p

Mongolian Shrimp? That seems like a contradiction in itself, no? But I guess they exist. In a PF Chang’s kind of world. (I’ve never been there - with so much Chinese around, why would you want to go to a chain? Americans…) Now tell me again why I am hungry for Chinese food at 2am?

No Mongolians don’t have shrimp. But it is imported. And all the “Mongolian Beef,” “Mongolian shrimp,” “Mongolian stir fry noodles,” and “Mongolian BBQ,” you eat here in America or at Chinese restaurants are not Mongolian food. You are welcome.
