I decided to run this blog, in hope to broaden people’s knowledge and perspective of Mongolia. When I first came to U.S., I realized many people around the world have limited perspectives of Mongolia. I want to let them know that there is more to Mongolia than just what they assume.

This blog is dedicated to not only Mongolian traditional culture and lifestyle, but also to the current lifestyle, popculture and everything else that is a part of Mongolia. I try to include different type of posts, such as songs, videos, pictures, news, recipes, humor/jokes and so on. 

You can request more of one thing. For instance, someone asked me to include Mongolian language lesson videos. So you can feel free to request any type of information too.

About me: My name is Solongo, which means a rainbow in Mongolian. I had lived in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for most of my life, but I am currently resided in California, and studying at UCD
